Prior to starting LiteScapes my background was primarily in the Resort and Hospitality Industry. After graduating from Arkansas State University , I enjoyed the corporate challenges that ultimately led me to a path of success as a Director of Marketing. The challenge of taking old or new resort developments and creating or transforming them into a thriving and profitable entity was an incredible thrill that I truly enjoyed. However, when my first son was on his way, my wife of twelve years and I began to rethink our priorities and embraced a vision that had been on my heart for years. After much planning, preparation and prayer, LiteScapes was created.

We formed LiteScapes in 2001 with the goal of being the best at what we do, "outdoor lighting." We had a simple philosophy, "Do what you say you're going to do, when you said you were going to do it and do it the best possible way." Not only has this philosophy been a good motto, it is the key to our booming success. From starting our operation in Richmond , VA , to our growth encompassing Virginia , Maryland , and the District of Columbia , our clients like what they see in LiteScapes. In 2010, we expanded to Georgia with our new division "The Power of Light" currently serving the Golden Isles. We are excited about our current success; however, we know that we must continue to push forward to make LiteScapes and The Power of Light the best they can be, not only for our clients; yet also, for the families and communities we support.

My wife and three sons are the reason we started LiteScapes and continued to expand with The Power Of Light, affording myself of the luxury of not only providing for them; yet as important, knowing and mentoring them. My grandfather once said, "It's not all about the money." Of course when I was climbing the corporate ladder that didn't make much since; yet, when I looked into my son's eyes for the first time, suddenly his statement was crystal clear. My family is my biggest passion and are the root of everything that I do. I also enjoy a wide range of activities from just about any sport or outdoor activity, to coaching, to leading Christian sport camps, to helping out in the community or serving at my church as I report to my boss' home every Sunday.

LiteScapes has been a true blessing as we have become one of the leaders in our industry. This hasn't been easy the last ten years of so; however, we are committed to making the investment in our staff and our clients, both existing and potential. It is our commitment to provide our customers with the best designs, products, and installation techniques. Knowing that our commitment doesn't stop at the point of installation; however, it continues with outstanding maintenance programs and service. Our vision is to take care of our existing customers, as well as, or potential customers making the neighborhoods where they live safer, more secure, and just simply, more beautiful.
